Dr. Ogo Okoye-Johnson is a dynamic, visionary, results oriented K-16 instructional leader, consultant, entrepreneur, educator and writer. She has experience as a teacher, educational administrator and a college professor. Dr. Ogo Okoye-Johnson is very passionate about eliminating the achievement and opportunity gaps that impede the academic progress of students; and about providing rigorous cutting-edge 21st century education that would ensure that K-12 students graduate college and career ready.

Ogo is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Noon Productions, a Media Production and Publishing company which published her first book, Oma, the faithful daughter at omathefaithfuldaughter.com. She believes in making accessible diverse children’s books to all ethnic groups. Dr. Ogo Okoye-Johnson’s next book, Chike the Invincible published by Waldorf Publishing was officially released on August 1, 2016.

Social justice is the cornerstone of Ogo’s various research endeavors in the field of education addressing the academic achievement, health and overall well-being of students. She has published scholarly articles on multicultural education and racial attitudes; and on Standard English Learners. She has presented papers from personal research at conferences in US and abroad. She is working on several books which are due for publication.

  1. I totally support Dr Okoye-Johnson on single sex education.
    I attended a single sex Junior High and High School and found the experience and knowledge very rewarding.

  2. Yes. Social justice MUST become the cornerstone of all educational policy. Our country has so obviously lost touch with finding and supporting educational leaders who understand this, and so we must each do what we can to support those who do.
